American Museum in Britain

The American Museum in Britain has the finest collection of Americana outside the United States.

The hilltop site of the museum’s home, Claverton Manor built in 1820, is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and takes full advantage of the spectacular views over the valley of the River Avon. The museum and grounds offer a unique setting for both corporate and private events within the manor or garden where a marquee can be placed on the South Lawn.

The recently extended and award winning Orangery is available for private use as well as the ingeniously re-furbished Stables & Coach House opened in 2011.

These rooms can be used for presentations, conferences and meetings with refreshments served in these areas. The stables with its own audio visual equipment, offers a striking space for lectures, exhibitions or indeed dining and is complimented by the flexible space available in the adjacent Coach House.

This venue also has:
AV Equipment
Teambuilding facilities
Car parking – 80 spaces free of charge
Level 3 – Accessible to an independent wheelchair user
