Conferences & Meetings
Whether you need an intimate room for a small meeting, a large venue with numerous break-out areas, or perhaps somewhere unique to host a special event, you’re bound to find the perfect venue for your needs in Bath.
The Newton Park Campus at Bath Spa University offers a wide range of conference facilities set amongst beautiful parkland designed by Capability Brown in the 18th Century. The brand new Commons building offers state of the art conference facilities that can accommodate up to 250 people, as well as small pods for breakout spaces. The building has some of the best broadcast ready digital studio facilities in the South West, complete with editing suites.
Bailbrook House Hotel is a Grade II listed country house hotel located just a few minutes from Bath city centre. It features a dedicated business centre with large training suites, syndicate rooms and a breakout area, plus handy free parking and WiFi.
If you’re after a unique setting for a conference or meeting, head to the American Museum in Britain, located on a hilltop with stunning views over the valley. Hold your event within the house or in a marquee on the lawn, a delightful location in the warmer months.
Bath hotels also offer excellent venues for a conference or meeting. The Francis Hotel is situated in the heart of Bath across seven 18th century townhouses in Queen Square and is a great choice if you’re in search of a venue with architectural and historical significance. Make use of the large airy function room and dedicated event organiser, to help any event run smoothly. The Abbey Hotel is also located centrally, with a relaxing lounge, cocktail bar and highly acclaimed restaurant.
For large scale conferences, the biggest venues are Bath Pavilion, Bath Racecourse, and The Assembly Rooms. If you’re in need of something much smaller, head to the boutique Queensberry Hotel, for a quirky approach to meetings and events.
